every night I do three miles on my treadmill and due to arthritis and bone spurs in my foot and a torn disc in her back that I should always apply ice for those areas later. over the years I was forced to use those "clear-plastic-gel-like" compresses. the problem with those products are type 1) you should (and are warned on the product) to wrap in a towel to apply. 2) have a relatively short life cycle, before the sticky gel "icky" starts to lose your towel .... on you ...
